The platform identifies and deploys top-indexing publisher audiences for activation across all media channels.THE OPPORTUNITYWe are seeking a VP of Data Science to lead the strategy, development, and execution of our AI/ML initiatives. This executive will be responsible for advancing our predictive modeling, data cleanroom capabilities, and privacy-preserving analytics, driving innovation at the intersection of health data, privacy, and advertising. This is a unique opportunity to build and scale a world-class data science organization, shaping the future of compliant healthcare advertising.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Data Science Leadership:
  • Define and execute the data science vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with BranchLab's product and business goals.
  • Drive innovation in predictive modeling, ID-less targeting, and privacy-enhancing AI solutions.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, particularly in privacy-preserving analytics, differential privacy, and healthcare compliance.
  • Oversee the development of advanced ML models for audience targeting, attribution, and campaign optimization.
  • Lead the research and implementation of ID-less audience modeling techniques, balancing precision and privacy.
  • Build and scale a high-performing data science and ML engineering team.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and rigorous data-driven decision-making.
  • Establish best practices in model development, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with engineering, product, and sales to integrate data science solutions into core products.
    • Communicate complex AI/ML concepts to executives, clients, and stakeholders in an accessible way.
    • Metrics & Impact:
      • Define and track success metrics for data-driven products, ensuring effectiveness, adoption, and compliance.
      • Leverage real-world performance data to continuously improve AI models and audience targeting accuracy.
      • Ensure BranchLab remains at the cutting edge of privacy-first AI and healthcare advertising analytics.QUALIFICATIONS
        • Proven leadership in a VP, Head of Data Science, or equivalent executive role in health data, AI/ML, cleanroom technology, or ad tech.
        • Deep expertise in machine learning, AI, and privacy-preserving analytics with a strong track record of building scalable data solutions.
        • Understanding of data privacy regulations, HIPAA, and state-specific health data laws (e.g., My Health My Data Act).
        • Experience with big data processing, federated learning, differential privacy, and secure multi-party computation.
        • Ability to build, mentor, and inspire world-class data science and ML teams.
        • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to balance innovation, privacy compliance, and business impact.
