Job Description:
A company is looking for a Provider Data Specialist to manage
and maintain provider data and ensure compliance with regulatory
guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and verify provider data, ensuring accurate onboarding and
timely payment of claims
Credential and recredential providers and facilities per regulatory
guidelines
Collaborate with Network Management to maintain a robust provider
network and monitor provider performance
Required Qualifications
Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and
experience
Two or more years of experience in health insurance or related
office work
Proficient in computer and database skills, particularly Microsoft
Word and Excel
Previous credentialing experience and familiarity with Macess,
Facets, and Cactus preferred
Availability to work full-time, virtually within New York State
