Job Description:
A company is looking for an Advanced Practice Provider in the
Neurosurgery Ambulatory Clinic.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct and document comprehensive initial and ongoing physical
examinations
Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans, including
ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies
Provide management, referrals, counseling, and education to
patients and families regarding care and preventive health
measures
Required Qualifications and Education
Master's degree or higher in nursing or completion of an accredited
Advanced Practice Education Program
Licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or as a
Physician Assistant in Texas
Authorization for prescriptive authority by the Texas Board of
Nursing or the Texas Physician Assistant Board
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support
(BLS) certification
Graduate education must align with clinical practice area and
patient population
