Job Description:
A company is looking for an Inpatient Senior Coder.
Key Responsibilities
Perform accurate code assignments for inpatient services
Assist coders with coding questions and conduct SMART reviews
Mentor junior coders and perform SMART audits
Required Qualifications
AHIMA or AAPC (CPC, CIC, COC) certification
A minimum of three years' recent inpatient coding experience in an
acute care setting
Experience using Epic and 3m is preferred
Knowledge of MS DRG Coding Classification Systems
Proficiency with office software including Outlook and Excel
