• Positions Available: 1Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer/Sr. Principal Systems Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The qualified applicant will support a growing portfolio of programs and IRADs that focus on missile defense, space, and intelligence.This position will specifically focus on the development of systems engineering artifacts supporting multiple programs across the portfolio in various stages of the systems engineering life cycle.Basic Qualifications (Principal Systems Engineer)
  • Bachelor of Science in a STEM field and 5 years of related experience, or Master of Science in a STEM field and 3 years of related experience, or a PhD and 1 years of experience
  • Active TS / SCI Clearance
  • Experience working along the left side of the "Systems Engineering Vee"
  • Experience developing Systems Engineering models using the Systems Modeling Language (SysML)
  • Experience in programs using the Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodology
  • CAMEO modeling experience
  • Comfortable communicating technical information to technical and non-technical customers
  • Experience mentoring and developing junior-level engineers
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team setting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skillsBasic Qualifications (Sr. Principal Systems Engineer)
    • Bachelor of Science in a STEM field and 8 years of related experience, or Master of Science in a STEM field and 6 years of related experience, or a PhD and 4 years of experience
    • Active TS / SCI Clearance
    • Experience working along the left side of the "Systems Engineering Vee"
    • Experience developing Systems Engineering models using the Systems Modeling Language (SysML)
    • Experience in programs using the Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodology
    • CAMEO modeling experience
