Support selling channels for all industries, key vertical markets, EPCs, system integrators, and OEMs within the territory. Develop sales strategies and tactics to improve the regional market position for KROHNE products.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Perform direct sales activities while supporting sales channels and key accounts to achieve the territory sales quota.Support regional sales efforts with specialized product and industry focus by developing sales presentations, organizing lunch and learns, training, and joint sales calls with channel partners.Support project pursuit and development strategiesImplement product strategies for targeted industries within the region to capitalize on regional trends and strengthsCollaborate with and provide ongoing evaluation of sales channels within assigned territory/industry per company strategies and objectivesPerform customer and executive level presentations at trade seminars, customer sites, and as required by managementUtilize sales and marketing software and customer relationship management tools as required.Plan and implement product launch activities in conjunction with sales and marketing management for assigned regionAdvise sales management and product managers of product enhancement requirements to meet industry standards/trends as applicableConsult and advise sales channels and customers directly on difficult applications within the regionWork with Industry and Product Managers to analyze competition and market information. Jointly develop regional positioning as it relates to volume and pricing, product features, channel development, and deliveryImplement and deliver training programs within the region to sales channels related to processes, procedures, products, and applicationsWork with the marketing department to deliver specific product promotion activity in the regionTravel approximately 60% within the assigned region to successfully perform essential duties. Travel as required by management to the corporate office and/or Europe or other KROHNE officesEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; and 4+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
