Occupational Therapist - RehabBoulder Community Health, Boulder, CO 80303$34.82 - $52.24 an hour - Part-Time Days, 16 hours per week+$2.50/hr for weekend shifts.Boulder Community Health is seeking a Occupational Therapist who assumes responsibility and accountability for providing quality care to patients with disorders affecting daily living skills, sensory-motor functions and cognitive/perceptual functions.Benefits:403(b)Retirement planEducation assistance programStaff Support Initiatives such as Sound Baths, Meditation, Massages, and ReikiFree one-on-one retirement planning sessionsEmployee Assistance Program offering 8 free, confidential counseling sessions for you and your familyQualificationsCurrent registration as an OT with the State of ColoradoBLS certification required by the end of conditional periodExperience in an inpatient rehabilitation environment with an interdisciplinary team is preferred.New Grads considered, must have had a Level 2 Rotation in Acute Care.ResponsibilitiesSelects appropriate tests and measures to determine goals and problems, course of treatment and appropriate therapeutic interventions.Identifies problem list/ assessment results, evaluates patient response to treatment and revises plan of care as indicated.Formulates and maintains an individualized treatment plan based on functional long and short-term goals.Provides treatment using appropriate techniques and tools.Promotes effective communication and teamwork.Reports and documents evaluations, plans, treatment techniques, assessment and patient progress.Initiates and is responsible for problem solving and decision-making regarding patient care.Functions as an advocate for the patient within the rehabilitation system.
