Description: The Advanced Programs and Exploitation (APEX) team within Lockheed Martin Space is looking for a motivated software engineer to support ongoing programs and internal research and development efforts focused on remote sensing data processing, exploitation applications, and simulations.In this position, you will be developing new multi-int mission processing applications and simulations, as well as maintaining legacy code utilized in other applications. This position will require a combination of DevOps and software development skillsets. The selected employee will contribute to maintaining CI/CD pipelines for the team and work in coordination with fellow software engineers for all activities required to develop, test, and deliver prototype and fully capable systems. This position involves design, development, maintenance, and testing of mainly C++ and Java code.This position is in our offices in beautiful Boulder, Colorado.Basic Qualifications:
- Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) field from an accredited institution.
- Proficiency in C++
- Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to obtain a secret government clearanceDesired Skills:
- Proficiency in Java & Python
- Experience with Cmake
- Experience developing in a Linux environment
- Expertise in GIT for code management
- Proficiency in Python and MatLab
- Strong experience in software design and development.
- Experience with containerization tools like Docker
- Experience with orchestration tools like Kubernetes
- Applied mathematics or algorithm development experience
- Experience working with data structures
- Active government security clearanceSecurity Clearance

Remotely:Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this
position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of
their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The
specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring
process.Work Schedules:Lockheed Martin supports a variety of
alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our
employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five-day
work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules
provide employees with additional time away from the office and are
in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this
Position:4x10 hour day, 3 days off per weekPay Rate:The annual base
salary range for this position in California and New York
(excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii,
Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is
$73,400 - $129,260. For states not referenced above, the salary
range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work
location. Please note that the salary information is a general
